Finding and joining the HIPPY Program as a parent was a game-changer because the program includes everything you need to help your child thrive: wonderful books to read together, simple, age-appropriate activities that develop necessary skills, and easy-to-follow guidance for parents. 

I am honored to have an opportunity to be a Home Visitor and to support other parents on this journey of raising happy and successful kids.

I have been a HIPPY mom for two years, HIPPY program not only helped me connect deeply with my son but also provided us with countless quality moments together.

Inspired by this journey, I became a home visitor, eager to share the same support and encouragement with other families. I firmly believe in the power of connection and creativity in parenting, and I’m passionate about helping others discover meaningful ways to engage with their children.

Neda Sabbagh is an Ontario-certified Early Childhood Education Teacher currently serving as a HIPPY Home Visitor.

She passionately guides families in fostering the growth of young minds through the HIPPY Program.

I love my job because I get the chance to work and learn with families from all around the world from different backgrounds and challenges. We work as a team and it’s so rewarding to see families thrive!

We provide ongoing school and settlement support, create and gather community resources and provide socializing opportunities for newcomer families in Halton.

In September, I joined the HIPPY team as a home visitor, marking my first job in Canada. This role allowed me to pay forward the lessons learned as a program participant.

Being part of the HIPPY family has been more than a job; it's been a journey of personal growth. It provided profound insights into the dedication required to deliver the program to families in need, enhancing my knowledge of children's developmental skills.
